WHEATLEY RIVER, PE - Wheatley River resident Renée Pastoor announced she will be seeking the Progressive Conservative nomination for District 19, Borden-Kinkora, in the upcoming by-election.
“Premier Dennis King and his PC government have led our province through challenging times while building for the future. I would be honoured to represent the people of Borden-Kinkora in a Dennis King PC government as their next MLA, ” says Pastoor.
Presently a farmer, Pastoor has also worked in the tourism industry for several years. Pastoor serves as President of the Wheatley River Improvement Group watershed association and as President of the Malpeque Electoral District Association for the Conservative Party of Canada.
“My personal philosophy is ‘see a need, fill a need’ and I’ve taken that approach to life, whether it was with our family farm, in the workforce or giving back to my community. I thrive on working with people and helping serve the needs of others,” says Pastoor.
Pastoor lives in Wheatley River with her husband Jason and their six children.
