Brackley, PE — Lifelong District 15 resident and longtime community advocate Kent Dollar has officially announced his intention to seek the Progressive Conservative nomination in District 15: Brackley – Hunter River.
With deep roots in the district, Kent brings a proven track record of public service, including his tenure as a Councillor for the Rural Municipality of Brackley and as the former Executive Assistant to the Premier of Prince Edward Island. Known for his dedication to grassroots engagement and community involvement, Kent has volunteered as a coach in local sports—most recently with ringette, and in earlier years with minor hockey—and is a strong supporter of Prince Edward Island’s harness racing community.
“I’ve spent my life in District 15 — living here, working here, raising my family here, and giving back wherever I can,” said Dollar. “Now, I want to be a strong voice for our communities in the Legislature—to advocate for the infrastructure we need and ensure continued investment in the places we call home.”
Kent’s campaign will focus on the priorities he’s heard from residents across the district: improved roads and services, greater access to supports for young families and seniors, and community-driven growth. He believes that by working together, District 15 can continue to thrive as one of the most vibrant rural regions in Prince Edward Island.
Kent lives in South Winsloe with his wife Natashia and their two children, Sophia and Ewan. He is the son of Vaunda Dollar and the late Fred Dollar, and was raised on the family farm, where he learned the value of hard work and community.
