Kent Dollar is a dedicated community advocate, public servant, and lifelong resident of District 15: Brackley – Hunter River. On August 12, 2025, Kent was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for his home district, marking a new chapter in his longstanding commitment to public service.

With deep roots in the community, Kent has spent his life working, volunteering, and raising his family in the same district he now proudly represents. His public service record includes time as a Councillor for the Rural Municipality of Brackley, where he focused on strengthening local infrastructure and addressing community needs. He also served as Executive Assistant to the Premier of Prince Edward Island, gaining valuable experience advocating on behalf of Islanders.

A strong believer in grassroots engagement, Kent is a familiar face at community events and a committed volunteer. He has coached local youth in sports—most recently in ringette and previously in minor hockey—and is a proud supporter of PEI’s harness racing tradition.

Kent’s passion for public service is rooted in his upbringing. Raised on the family farm in South Winsloe by his mother Vaunda and the late Fred Dollar, Kent learned early the values of hard work, integrity, and giving back. Today, those same values guide his approach to leadership and community building.
