Sherwood educational assistant and community volunteer Susie Dillon today announced that she is seeking the Progressive Conservative nomination for the upcoming by-election in District 10, Charlottetown-Winsloe.
“Over the last year and a half I have watched and been inspired by Premier Dennis King’s collaborative approach to governing when it comes to the issues that matter to families like mine - education, health care and sustainable community growth. I’m excited to put my name forward to represent Charlottetown-Winsloe as part of Premier King’s Progressive Conservative government,” says Susie.
A lifelong resident of Charlottetown, Susie grew up in Sherwood and attended Sherwood Elementary School, Stonepark Intermediate, and Charlottetown Rural High School before graduating from Holland College’s Human Services program. Susie has worked as an Educational Assistant with the Public School Branch for the past 25 years.
Susie has been active in her community as a volunteer for many years. As a member of the Sherwood Home and School Association she helped to introduce the school’s first breakfast program. Susie has also served as a director, manager and volunteer with the Charlottetown CanPower Skate Program, the Sherwood-Parkdale Minor Hockey Association Early.

“I have been very fortunate to have grown up and raise a family in such a great community. I feel that I can make a positive contribution back to my community as part of the Dennis King PC team,” says Susie.
Susie lives in Sherwood with her husband Mike and they have three sons.
