Our Students Need More Time for Physical Education in School

Recently, MLA Matthew MacKay questioned the Minister of Education, Early Learning & Culture why the physical education curriculum only requires elementary students to get 75 minutes of physical activity per week when we know that research suggests that children should get 60 minutes of physical activity per day.  Research has also shown that physical activity can be linked to academic performance.

Show your support by signing this petition to encourage government to increase the minimum time requirement for physical education for elementary students.
